Yang Perlu Anda Tahu





Elakkan buah-buahan sitrus seperti daripada keluarga oren dan limau untuk kanak-kanak bawah 1 tahun. Ia sama sekali tidak sesuai untuk perut dan usus mereka yang masih lembut.





Jangan sekali-kali cuba memberikan si kecil anda, di bawah usia 4 tahun dengan hidangan kopi dan kafein yang tinggi.





Minuman bergas juga sebaiknya dielakkan untuk si kecil bawah 4 tahun, usus mereka terlalu lembut untuk menerima daya ketidakserapan makanan. Biarkan mereka melalui proses pencernaan yang sempurna.




Elakkan makanan tinggi bahan awet seperti yang terkandung dalam aneka makanan ringan. Ia sama sekali tidak baik untuk kesihatan mereka.

Air Kosong Untuk Si Kecil


TAHUKAH anda bahawa kuasa air kosong bukan hanya untuk orang dewasa sahaja. Kanak-kanak dan bayi juga turut menjadikan air kosong sebagai pilihan utama selain susu. Air kosong amat membantu untuk mengekalkan kesihatan disamping melancarkan proses tubuh. Malah air kosong juga menjadi elemen terpenting dalam proses metabolisme di mana ia membantu membakar kalori dalam tubuh dan mengubah makanan menjadi tenaga. Air kosong juga menggantikan perpeluhan yang keluar ketika aktif bermain. Bukankah ini cukup baik?

Jus Lobak Merah


2 batang lobak merah (di potong)
200 ml susu segar
15 gm serbuk vanilla
2 sudu besar air gula (lebih kan kalau nak manis)
Kiub ais secukupnya
Krim putar secukupnya (Optional)


Cara-cara


Kisar lobak hingga hancur dan tapis. Kemudian masukkan pati lobak merah tadi ke dalam mesin pengisar dan masukkan air gula bersama susu segar. Setelah itu masukkan serbuk vanilla dan kiub ais. Kisar hingga sebati dan gebu. Tuangkan bancuhan tadi kedalam gelas dan akhir sekali paip kan krim putar. Hias ikut citarasa. Sedia untuk di hidang.












Masak Asam Pedas Melaka


2 potong ikan tenggiri / ikan siakap
4 - 5 tangkai cili kering ( potong dan rendam dengan air panas) **
3 ulas bawang merah **
1 ulas bawang putih **
Secekak daun kesum
2 batang serai (dititik)
Air asam jawa
Garam
3 cawan air
Minyak untuk menumis

** Dikisar


Cara - cara


Bersihkan ikan. Kisar cili, bawang merah dan bawang putih. Panaskan minyak dan tuangkan bahan kisar serta serai. Biar sampai pecah minyak dan kacau sesekali. Masukkan ikan, air, air asam jawa dan daun kesum. Biar sampai mendidih. Setelah mendidih masukkan garam. Setelah masak, angkat dan hidangkan.



Ikan Masak Lemak Cili Padi


7 ekor ikan puyu / sepat (sederhana besar)
1 biji kelapa - asingkan pati
30 biji cili padi **
10 biji belimbing buluh di belah dua  atau ½ biji nenas di potong2
5 ulas bawang merah **
½ inci kunyit **
2 batang serai dititik
2 biji lada hijau dibelah dua (optional)
Garam secukup rasa

** ditumbuk atau dikisar


Cara – cara

Bersihkan ikan. Kisar cili padi, bawang dan kunyit. Masukkan bahan kisar dan serai ke dalam periuk. Didihkan dengan api yg kecil. Masukkan santan dan biarkan mendidih. Setelah itu masukkan ikan, pati santan, belimbing buluh / nenas dan garam kacau perlahan-lahan jangan bagi pecah minyak. Setelah masak angkat dan hidang kan.





Ikan Pekasam Pahang


20 – 30 ekor ikan puyu, sepat atau ikan paya
Garam kasar segenggam
Asam keping segenggam
Kunyit secukupnya

Cara-cara

Bersihkan ikan. Gaul bersama bahan-bahan di atas dan simpan dalam peti ais. Boleh lah di goreng setelah di simpan 2 atau 3 hari. Sedap di goreng bersama cili padi dan bawang besar dan makan bersama nasi panas. Nyum nyumm..

  EAT FISH!
Eat plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent headaches.
So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.


HAY FEVER?
EAT YOGURT!
Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.


HEADACHE?


TO PREVENT STROKE

Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea. (actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from invading....Green tea is great for our immune system)!

EAT ONIONS!!!!
Eating onions helps ease constriction of bronchial tubes. (when I was young, my mother would make onion packs to place on our chest, helped the respiratory ailments and actually made us breathe better).


ARTHRITIS?
EAT FISH, TOO!!
Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines actually prevent arthritis. (fish has omega oils, good for our immune system)


UPSET STOMACH?
BANANAS - GINGER!!!!!
Bananas will settle an upset stomach.
Ginger will cure morning sickness and nausea.


BLADDER INFECTION?
DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE!!!!
High-acid cranberry juice controls harmful bacteria.


BONE PROBLEMS?
EAT PINEAPPLE!!!
Bone fractures and osteoporosis can be prevented by the manganese in pineapple.


PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME?
EAT CORNFLAKES!!!!

Women can ward off the effects of PMS with cornflakes, which help reduce depression, anxiety and fatigue.
